Your great writing deserves a good, perceptive editor.
You are a sensitive, curious, insightful person deeply interested in what it means to be human. You’ve studied it, researched it, and now you are writing about it to share what you know with others. You could be a coach, psychologist, sociologist, historian, educator, or heart-centered business person.
And now you’re writing about your work for the world!
Here’s what’s true ~
But there you are, bogged down in your first draft, overwhelmed by the process.
You don’t have time for writing. You have other responsibilities, and your important daily work in the world can’t wait.
You may even be telling yourself you can’t do this. You may be thinking:
You may have thought about hiring an editor to help, but it has to be the right editor. Maybe you’ve had bad experiences. Maybe you fear being judged, or over-edited, your message and your natural voice silenced.
As you probably know from experience, good writing looks easy, yet rarely is easy.
And that’s ok, indeed, entirely normal. Most writers—even good writers—are too close to their subject to read their own words the way their readers do. Most can’t write and edit at the same time, nor can they easily edit their own work.
Editing is an essential—and normal—piece of the process.
You need someone to come in with fresh eyes, to see the beauty in what you’ve written, and to use all their skills to bring your work and hard-earned wisdom into its best, fullest, form.
As an editor myself, I love working with curious, insightful humans like yourself.
I’d love to help you with your next writing project!
